Surfacing & IMA Models
Airplane Surface Modeling - This airplane is modeled off of the Piper 3 airplane using the GSD workbench in CATIA.  This plane is all G1 continuity.
 
Reverse engineering from point cloud to surface to thick body profile - This part was scaned on a  three dimensional scanner, and was inported in to CATIA DSE workbench.  Once there it was created in to a mesh and to take the profile form and creat wire frame elements and turn in to a surface then a thick bodied profile
 
 
Boat Propeller - This boat propeller uses a helix to aquire the angle and sweep needed to acheve the  pitch of the blades to provide the right amount of thrust.
 
 
Dewalt 20V Drill with Battery - The Drill is completely drafted to be injected molded with 2 deg draft min on every surface.  The whole Drill is Core/Cavity in CATIA Asembly design work bench. Rendering done in KeyShot 2.3
 
 
 
Large Angle Grinder - This (LAG) is a full scale modle of the Dewalt LAG D28494, it was given to my class as a scaned teslated model which we then modeled around. This model is compleat with offsets for core/cavity structure.
 
Vertical Bike Rack - I designed and built this Vertical bike rack.  It is designed to take less space horizontaly for smaller spaces.  It works and is fully adjustable to hold taller bikes as well as short bikes.    
 
IMA Handles - These IMA handles were made using CATIA R5 V20.  The red handle is based off of a center grip handle, where the yellow handle is based off of a pistal grip handle.  The Red handle has been converted in to a surface with an off set and fully in Core Cavity ready to be molded.  Where the Yellow handle is still in an IMA state wating to be intragraded with GSD surfaces to finish off the handle.
 
 
 
GSD Pistion - This pistion was created in GSD usign CATIA fully drafted for a casted part with finished tooling.
