Part Models
Bike Project - This bike was designed using CATIA part design work bench, and the assembly work bench. This bike is fully constrained with parameters that adjust the size of the bike from a 48" - 62" bike frame. All of the tubes in the bike are hollow and get thicker at the top and bottom were they are welded to the other tubes.
Faucet Project - This faucet was designed using CATIA. It was put together using the CATIA assembly work bench. This faucet has hot and cold screw covers, two mesh screens and gaskets for water filtration and a brass finish for aesthetics.
Clamping and Step Drilling Project - This clamp and V-block assembly holds the U-shaped part in the correct spot, within .05" tolerance. To do this, there are two renewable bushings for the step drill to drill though, this creates the percision needed for this U-shaped part.
Boring Operation Project - This fixture is designed to hold a round work piece in place using two placement pins which allows the tolerance to be very accurate. The fixture uses three swing clamps to hold the part on the piece while the machine is operating. This fixture won best design in class for its simplicity and usability.
Broaching Operation Project - This fixture was designed to hold the part being broached in place without using any clamps. The fixture is nested so that the part fits inside the mount. There is a support mount off the fixture as well so the weight of the piece being machined is held up. There is also a placement pin in the fixture that makes it so that the part is mounted right every time. This project won best fixture design with a quick cycle time.
CATIA Motor Project - This motor was designed in CATIA part design work bench then put together in the assembly work bench. This motor was fully parameterized so that it could switch from 2-4 cylinders. When you select the number of cylinders, the motor will adjust to the number selected whether it be adding an extra cylinder and piston with conecting rod and pin, or removing a cylinder and the assoicated parts.

Bench Clamp -This Bench Clamp was built in CATIA part design work bench, and assembled in the assembly work bench. All the pieces of this clamp were individually built, then assembled. The Bench clamp is designed to pivot on the bottom ball so it can rotate on an almost 360 degree axis to meet the posion required by the worker using the clamp.
Detailed Graphic Design and Tolerancing - I know how to do detailed blue prints of parts with GD&T Y14.5 2009 AMSE, ANSI, ISO standards.
Clamping and Step Drilling Project BOM - This is a Bill of Materials of the Clamping tool that will need to be purchesed or made depending on the part. I also know how to do exploded views with part lables.
GD&T for Boring Operation Part - This Part Drawing is set up with GD&T Y14.5 standards, and specifactions that my teacher wanted.
